Yep. I remember you said that you woke up still stoned and thought that everyone in the neighborhood had sprouted skis on their feet.

Well, that's how I read what you wrote, anyway. Maybe it isn't 100% accurate.

Yeah but you have gorgeous springs and summers.

I spent a few summers in WA in the 90s and I just remember thinking how awesome it was actually wanting to go outside in July

Y’all were crying when we got a little cold weather

June was unbearably hot last year.
And July was incredibly wet, but with the absence of a hurricane for Louisiana, I would take that trade off every year.

Every summer is miserable.
Every damn one.
Every damn one.

With the rain saturation pushing down all those oaks and pines getting snapped, roads are often un-accessible which was always annoying, especially if you are on a road and watch the trees come down. Hell, may have to cut yourself out of your roof too.
a hurricane
Imagine if there was a street gang that carried chainsaws like people used to brandish swords back in the day. And getting it overhauled with gold and platinum like those cartel guns

Definitely not me.

It’s fricking incredible outside right now. Humidity is low, sun is out. I’ve been outside for the last two days. I love this weather. Makes me want to be on the water.

So sick of the constant swamp heat. We’ve had 10 actual cold days this entire winter.

Don’t trust Louisiana weather.
It’s warm AF right now, but just wait until mid-March when we get that random freeze event.

June was unbearably hot last year.
Then it rained (to some degree) for seemingly 85 straight days.
I moved to a new home in April and was in a sweatshirt on moving day. I recall spring being relatively mild and dry (after it being 80 degrees in Christmas).
It’s south Louisiana. Summer is ALWAYS miserable no matter what happens in February. The only question of whether it is just normal miserable or horrible is if we have a major hurricane hit. Otherwise, the miserable summer is the price we have to pay to be able to hang out with the kids by the pool in late February

I love Florida weather but there is a reason I chose northern Florida. I am not a fan of 85 degree plus in February. Plenty of time for this starting in July.
