Huntsville started keeping temperature records in 1907

The four months you cite in ‘07 cumulatively are the 77th hottest percentile for June-September.

So it’s getting warmer on average.

Who knew?

2007 - 12, 56, 1, 24
Using the numbers from Huntsville's records. That's June through September. That's all I am going by. Period.

And if that was in SE LA, the prior February in both '06 and '07 was well below normal. By the OP's logic you should have had a pleasant Summer, whichever year it was.

I just remember my wife was pregnant and later we had an infant and couldn't get the house below 80 during the day and man did I hear about it

When I wake up to 48 degree temps, then "hot" 70's is good.

Got it,

So, using the magic of mathematics, you get this-

June ‘07 was the 87th Warmest June on record there
July ‘07 was the 43rd Warmest July on record there
August ‘07 was the 99th Warmest August on record there
September’07 was the 75th Warmest September on record there

87 + 43 + 99 + 75 = 304

304/4 = 76th percentile warmest from June through September using the monthly averages

Or, in your parlance, the 24th warmest year in history from June through September.

Agreed. It's 34 right now and the sun feels like a furnace.

No. Going by the average temp of those months in that year compared to other years, June 2007 was the 12th hottest on record for the Huntsville area.

I took the average high temp for the month and compared it to every other average high temp for every other June. It was the 12th hottest on record (an average high temp of 92.4°). So on and so forth for the other months.

Mine has the start of buds, but they haven't broke yet. I'll be fertilizing earlier this year than last, for sure.

Can’t stand people who constantly complain. At least you’re blessed with a nice home with air conditioning. Not everyone is that fortunate.

Jesus h christ, even if I did come to the the realization that I was a huge gash of a man, I still wouldn't go on the web and announce it to everybody.

Ain’t even in March yet. I got 7 hours of outside work in between yesterday and this morning and I’m done. It’s going to be a miserable summer.

Last time we had a hot February April was unseasonably cold.
