The number of possible 52-card deck comboes is 8 * 10^(67).
According to Yahoo Answers.
According to Yahoo Answers.

there are 80,658,175,170,943,878,571,660,636,856,403,766,975,289,505,440,883,277,824,000,000,000,000 different combinations of cards in a 52 card deck.

It's 52! I'm pretty sure.
Another one that is similar to that one is that there are supposedly more possible different games of chess than there are atoms in the observable universe.

Maybe since the Big Bang Theory TV show aired...maybe

I believe this means it takes longer for it to rotate 360 degrees on it's own axis than it does for it to rotate once around the sun.

dafuq
Venus revolves around it's axis very slowly, not that hard.

Number of combinations in a 52 card deck is 52!, which works out to about 8x10^67
Number of seconds in 14 billion years is only about 4.4x10^17, so really there are even a lot more ways to order a 52 card deck than there have been nanoseconds since the big bang (about 4.4x10^26).

huh?
I assume it rotates around the sun faster than it rotates completely on its own axis.

Does a combination consist of any thing from 1 individual card to all 52 cards together with every thing in between?
I was thinking 5 card hands...

that's a few billion years in seconds

52! ~ 8*10^67 possible combinations
13.8*10^9 yrs * 31,536,000 sec/yr ~ 4.4*10^17 seconds
So there # of combinations is 50 orders of magnitude greater than the number of seconds.
EDIT: typo

Take a deck of cards, shuffle them up and put them in a stack. That's one.
Shuffle again, that's two.
Take the top card and put it on the bottom, that's three.
Throw them on the floor, pick them up, that's four.
Et cetera
