Dude it is college, most of the time you are parked in a giant parking lot with other crappy cars.

In high school people do in college not so much

Jeeps in that price range are not known to be reliable. As a college student, you want a vehicle that is going to be relatively cheap to maintain until graduation. If you want to stay in the mid-size SUV market, I'd suggest looking at a 2010 Toyota 4-runner. I think you'd also like a 2014 Toyota Tacoma. Per Autotrader, both are in your price range.

Golf GTI
Subaru WRX
Infiniti G37
Honda Accord
Brand frickin' new Mazada 6
Or, if you like to be all practical, used Camry, Accord, Corolla, or Civic.
Jeep if you like to fix shite all time. I happen to be one of those people. That's why I have a Jeep and a Tahoe. I stay busy.

It's an 08 and doesn't have an aux cord
On a serous note, its become really expensive to maintain and its to small for me to be hauling stuff back between Knoxville and Birmingham.

Kids in college get shitty cars. That's what they deserve.

Get a Subaru Outback to Forrester. Get 25+mph and can handle anything a Jeep can

Ahhh you're speaking from Louisiana standards

You should seriously consider putting 'used car' in your title so you don't sound so stupid.

Speaking from a jeep guy i am on my 3rd one right now. I love them. you can't go wrong with it.
The gas will not as good on the 13 and back because it still had the 5sp trans. the 14 and up have an 8sp trans for better gas.

Yeah, I like the Subaru line these days, and you can get a new one in the range you listed.

This changes the entire thread. You are one of those college students.
