Record Bar or Musicland in Cortana Mall. Years before that, New Generation on Florida Blvd. After Cortana, Paradise Records.

To quote the old commercials--

We had Camelot but no Sam Goody where I lived growing up. The answer though in the 90s for me was always small hole in the wall vinyl shops.

There used to be a great locally owned music store on Jefferson near Government about where Jed's poboys is now but I can't recall the name of it.

Pretty sure that’s how much Pretty Hate Machine in 1991 cost.
CDs were a lot back then. I made 4.25 hr.

I don't think we had Camelot in Atlanta but Suncoast was awesome too.

Honestly I would go to target. I hated getting a cd from Walmart. I remember all of their cds were edited.

Yeah that was it. My mom lived around there when I was in HS in the early 90s I used to love to go waste time in that place.

Smith's Records at Lakeside. Sound Warehouse over on Vets kinda by where the Barnes & Noble is.
I would have bought Pearl Jam Ten, The Smashing Pumpkins Siamese Dream and Green Day's Dookie

I’m probably just taking it to Blockbuster to pay my late fee.
