It’s the 90s and you have $20 to spend in the mall on cassette tapes and/or CDs

Probably spend over an hour in Sam Goody’s looking through all the tapes and listening to the free samples on the headsets, but not buy anything. Then take my $20 and head to the food court to find the cheapest way to eat a snack for $5 that includes an icee. Then head to the arcade to blow the other $15 before I have to meet my mom out in front of Macy’s at 7:00pm on the dot

I don’t remember a time in which Sam Goody’s used CD would go for cheaper than $5, so accounting for tax, $20 would get me maybe 3 CDs.

I’d buy

1. Batman 89 Score Soundtrack - Danny Elfman
2. Siamese Dream - Smashing Pumpkins
3. The Pure Moods compilation

Columbia House. You'd get like 7 for a dollar but you had to buy 5 at like $20 each or something like that.
