Archconservative wife and I are on four, future hard right voters in the works.

The younger generations (millennial here) are far too selfish to have kids or be good parents

I was just recently lounging in a nice hotel hot tub and listening to some little kids shrieking while playing in the adjacent pool, making the same sounds that I imagine people would make while being dismembered with a chainsaw.
Tell me you've never dismembered a child with a chainsaw without telling me

Some of you just need to accept that this isn't true for everyone.
True. Also, it's funny that everyone just now is deeply concerned with all the single/unmarried/childless people out there.
As if you couldn't find a concerning trend 8 years ago when no one was talking about it. (I.e. the % of married people vs age was likely very clearly trending down from previous generations)
It's pretty sad and pathetic to try and dunk on people who simply made themselves apart of the culture and became victims of said culture. Most everyone participated in It's ideals and claimed virtues...people were afraid to tell people to get married and have kids....especially afraid of telling women it's good to be married and have children. All these people proclaiming their antinatalist choices were around before...the public conversations never allowed anyone to reveal these values.
People gaslit each other and of course now you can see a huge contingent left out in the cold as it's tough to pivot from being the hottest girl at the nightclub to wife/mother. These roles are in different universes yet no one is willing to say it.
These people "left out" absolutely will now be making the lives for the rest of us a living hell. They're not just going away and you can't just ignore them anymore than you can ignore the incel school shooters.
They're going to vote for themselves and their preferred state against yours.
Marriage/monogamy is a community existence, not an individual one. Every person you dunk on will be an enemy against you and your way of life.
If you want to stop this then help/encourage people you know to get married and have kids and join your community. That's the only way to defeat the antinatalist anti-tradition deathcult. The more of them there are, the more likely it is they prey upon your community instead of being apart of it.

All I know is some of these people are going to end up being miserable alone and in a nursing home with no one to even visit them.
I said I didn't want kids before, but you will miss out on so much of life if you don't. You literally will be relieving life just in a different perspective. If you aren't an a-hole parent, then your child is less likely to be an a-hole child who may keep your wrinkly arse out of s nursing home one day

Nursing homes are filled with parents who are miserable and alone, with kids who rarely or never come visit them.

I bet 90+% of those rotting in a nursing home have kids. Likely several.
I have 3 kids myself. Love them more than anything. Wanted kids from the beginning. Never once did "I need to have kids, else I will die alone" cross my mind.
Was that why some of yall had kids? Weird as frick lol.

We created it. It starts with corporate greed. Does it not? Community, family, faith, culture. Capitalism has destroyed it all.
We do not practice capitalism. We are a hybrid between socialism and chrony capitalism. Our system began to morph from capitalism into something else around 1900.
True capitalism ("the market") operates as a refletion of the people. A billion individual daily decisions comprising "the invisible hand". To say capitalism destroyed something is to say that the people destroyed it.

I go visit my grandma in the nursing home a few times a month. The amount of residents I see there who have never been visited by their kids is baffling. Either way, we're all going to be alone and miserable at some point

Exactly.
Having and raising children is a massive net benefit for society and should be pursued by all those capable.
The logic of "You should have kids because if not, you will be lonely in old age" is probably one of the most retarded reasons I've ever heard regarding motivation to have children. If that cracks your top 100 reasons for having kids, please don't.

That is no longer the case in 2024, and it certainly isn't sustainable.

The problem is that our system is structured in a way that having kids is most burdensome on the middle class. That's a huge problem long term.
