Can you expand on the decisions Flock is making?

I hate to be the one to break to it to you, my brother in Christ, but I am 100% certain my movements, and yours, have been tracked since we had cell
phones in middle school. Shout out Motorola

If you’re not breaking the law, then you have nothing to worry about. Bunch of anti-police and anti-law enforcement people on this board.

So the hundreds (probably thousands) of girlfriends and ex wives of local yokels were breaking the law when they were being watched?

so I'll ask again, because this seems to be the go-to NPC response now

if we are all already being tracked by our cellphones, why are these suddenly so necessary?

its almost as if there are less safe guards and the data is easier to compile and collect

You seem to care a lot about letting everyone know how little you care

To the contrary, I really appreciate the info. People sometimes need to time process new info. Thank you for educating me on this very important subject.

It’s pretty likely. The precedent is now guilty before being proven innocent.

I can stand at a major intersection here in BR and point out which cars don't have any insurance , without technology. A good policeman can also.

If it is missing a bumper or has a hanging one it's a sure indication that it doesn't.

Don't want a plate reader to read you plate just smear some vaseline on it.

Some politician's nephew probably has the contract to install and maintain these flock cameras , at a inflated rate.

Don't like the cameras? Sneak out there at night with a ski cap on and put a black garbage bag over it with a sign that says ' out of service' .

then why are the Flock cameras being put up everywhere?

I’ve noticed them on maps in or near parks where rapes and assaults have taken place, and on transit routes to and from neighborhoods where cars have been broken into and stolen.

Another idiot who doesn't understand the concept of choice.

And you may have all your shite turned on so everything you do is tracked, but not everyone is as much of a useful idiot as you.

Yep. They sell you on "this is for your protection" and a lot of people never think past that.

but we are all already being tracked by our phones, as the post in which I replied implied

so why are they necessary?

ETA: and the "china is influencing us to dislike datacenters so they can "win"" is probably the least veiled US gov psyop I've ever witnessed. It's hilarious the retards that fall for that.

It's hilarious you think China isn't investing quite a bit of time and effort in to influencing data center buildouts in the US.

They have a very large economic and military interest in doing so, and if you don't understand this, you're rather stupid.

Its not that we don't understand that China has interests in competing with US AI capabilities, its that we also understand that the US is heavily invested in AI and the "anti AI data center is just Chinese propaganda" is very clearly propaganda itself to quell the anti AI data center sentiment

whenever the usuals repeat the same thing in every single thread, it immediately tells me that there was some type coordinated social media campaign that put out that particular talking point

If you’re the CEO of Flock, your business interest is in having a positive impact with data to support the benefit your business provides. Your cost-benefit analysis does not support spending money on expenses with maintenance costs that cannot support your business model.

Unless your plan is to sell data and movement data.

Flock is collecting government contracts not funding this themselves.

Your business interest is having communities buy the data you're collecting on a pinky promise it won't get hacked, sold, be entirely wrong (at the expense of the community, often at gunpoint), and not used by LEO/politicians for illicit purposes/stalking.
