Yep. I don't understand this.
I do. they figure the best way to handle the situation is to block off the streets and contain the violence in those areas...let them burn down their own neighborhoods and keep them out of the upscale areas while not escalating the situation.

Well that's not productive 
It's gotta stop, it's pretty out of hand. Actually shocked that it has gotten this out of hand. I did notice a lot more kids laughing and smiling during these protests/riots/uprisings which seemed distinctly different than the others. Feels like some people got caught up in the mob mentality.
I college, my buddies got drunk and trashed their OWN apartment. Literally broke everything they owned they say it was the best night they had in college. Young men like to break shite but this is definitely out of hand.
I see goons and felons and opportunists out there, not protesters. Sad day in America.
I just hope the cops hold back and don't open fire
