Croatins know how to handle shellfish just ask all of the ones in Plaquemines Parish.
Go to the annual Louisiana Croatian Fest and find out that they think they singlehandedly started fish oysters in Louisiana.

They look delicious. Went to a place outside of Orlando that had nothing but a few butcher-block tables covered in newspaper, a dowl mallet and a bushel of steamed blue crabs dumped on the table. Damn, that was good.

I’m glad someone else is getting one of our “invasive’s”, it seems like it’s been pretty one sided.
I want kudzu and fire ants deported once we clear out the Somalimeximalan’s.

Not getting bushels of fat females if you’re overpopulated and they don’t have food

Calamari and softshelled crabs sounds like a winning combination

I wonder where you get 1000 octopuses?
I'd look in an octopus's garden, in the shade.

Everything I read says Italian restaurants are lazy with their seafood and don't want to peel crabs. They even fry shrimp with the shell still on.
Modern Italians lazy? No way

Didn't we just have a thread about some country having too many crayfish? Now blue crab? These threads are pissing me off.
It was Spain. I’m starting to think the countries bordering the Mediterranean are filled with lazy frick heads

But their numbers have ballooned in recent years, with the government and fishing groups linking the boom to warming waters and climate change.
Now I’m cheering for the crabs.
I laughed at the same thing...the article literally says:
1) They came over accidentally on ships
2) They don't have a natural predator so can multiply unchecked
But the conclusion is
- Climate change
