Can you imagine how many upside down loans there will be in the next five years?

yeah for all this it's REALLY a luxury brand they look like hammered shite inside

What is that some of you want inside of a vehicle? I prefer a simple/basic layout inside. It's a damn truck, not a luxury vehicle. Some of you seem confused on the purpose of a truck. It's not supposed to be like an S class Mercedes, yet now they do have essentially all of the same tech features. Then again, most of the OT that owns a truck probably doesn't really need to own a truck.

Especially with the amount of “Market Adjustment Price” being added to the prices of new vehicles by dealers right now

Either that or they will have 5 year old trucks and still owe 60k.

Everyone says that the EFI is the one upgrade I should make to it. However, that's adding a computer to the system and I'm not sure I want that. Probably just tune the carb in and be done with it.

single bbl carb?

I had a GMC pickup from the same era without EFI. I wasn't unreliable, but like all carb motors from back then...it took a little patience to start it on colder mornings if it hadn't been run for a while.

I wouldn't be surprised if 10 year vehicle notes became a thing, which would be a travesty. People continue to feel the need to buy shite they don't need or can't afford.

A Denali 2500 will hold its value pretty well, especially if the ongoing truck inventory shortage continues.

I like it. I want a new 3/4 ton diesel. I have an inch to trade in a 2016 Chevrolet 2500 diesel High Country with only 40 k miles. But I have to wait until December/January for tax purposes.

And don't fret OT, I don't get loans on vehicles unless they are 0%. Anything else and I'll just stroke a check.

with the amount of $80k vehicles on the road you'd think money is raining from the sky

Mostly driven by people that want to project the appearance of wealth.

The GMC Denali Sierra and Ford Raptor are the Cadillac Fleetwoods in an era when Cadillac no longer makes Fleetwoods. Big and flashy American iron for people that want to show off.

I man, no one is offended, your post was naïve as hell.

What luxury trucks in the 80k range are available?

The biggest collection of "luxury" trucks in this town are next door to my work at the Greens Creek Mine dock. Those baws make over 6 figs, but the number of 70k+ pickups that sit in that lot weeks at a time is unreal. Its like some bat signal.

There are none. A truck is not a "luxury" vehicle. It's a work vehicle. Some makes will include some bells and whistles in their work based vehicle. But you aren't throwing shite in the bed of a "luxury" vehicle.

I think a nicely equipped 3/4 diesel will really hold its value going forward when you think about the upcoming federal fuel consumption and emissions standards

Give us some examples of what you'd consider luxury vehicle.

Luxury is relative. these are "luxury" trucks.

Exactly. That was my point. A few in this thread have tried to go there. I've been in the cab of quite a few trucks with all the bells and whistles and it was pretty fricking "luxury" to me.

They're thinking the old school square body pickups from the 70's and 80's with a bench seat.
