The spectacle and parties that now surround it damage productivity on the Monday after the Super Bowl...and I'd like a day to recover.

frick. That.

They should also cancel all Thursday and Monday games. NFL football is played on Sundays. It competes with god and wins most of the time.

Naaaa man, I am a "traditionalist" when it comes to sporting events. I'd vote to keep it on Sunday.

Sure, Super Bowl Saturday doesn't quite have that ring to it, but damn it it makes more sense!

I prefer Sunday. It is like an extra night added to the weekend. Like you said, most people aren't up and at it Monday morning after the SuperBowl, so you don't have to deal with people bothering you.

Make Monday a national holiday and get rid of President’s Day.

Or have the Monday of the Super Bowl be President’s Day.

Just move MLK day to the day after super bowl.

It’s in BHM. It gives a day off after the super bowl.

Everyone wins.
