It has rained here the last 4 Saturdays

Saturday is my only day for outside work. The grass is towering and the beds don't look their best.

My job is flexible enough to where I could work the rainy Saturday and take comp time during the week to mitigate this issue. But this will never be thanks to my offspring needing to not be abandoned on Saturdays. My question is, how do we get the schools on board with this?

Local Little Rock station showed calendar of last month. Every Thursday, 3/4 of the Wednesday's and Saturday's and several other days too.

Some schools in Texas are going to four-day instructional weeks. More so in Oklahoma (because they're poor).

My 4 year old had his t-ball game rained out today. The long layoff between games is going to take a toll on his chances to make that travel ball team.
