It hit pretty hard in the Mid-City area, but was short-lived and went away about as fast as it showed up.

I was in North Old Metairie (by Johnny Bright Playground) and it was like monsoon for a few minutes. Couldn't hardly see to drive.

looked like we got a little rain in Hammond last night I got home late and didn’t see it. Forecasted to return to normal summer weather the week of the 28th so another ten days or so of this blast oven after today

I saw lightning flashes last night around 9pm. The weather radar showed the only storms being 70+ miles away in Metairie and New Iberia.

It’s totally clear otherwise. No rain for us.
