Can’t believe the NWS didn’t send out a warning for that. Trees down in River Ridge, power out, tons of lightning strikes. After what allegedly happened in Hawaii you’d think they’d be on top of warnings.

I don’t think wildfires are a risk in river ridge.

Done. Been out in old Metairie for about 30 minutes. We are always going out around here. Wife is getting a fricking generator for Christmas.

Wind and hail is all that will dictate a Severe Thunderstorm Warning. It was borderline with a gust of 58mph at the airport, but with the shite I've seen some other offices warn lately I'm surprised they didn't.

Looks like a little cool front coming through tomorrow. Will still be hot as frick during the daytime but looks to get down in the low 70s at night time

That’s because all the basic soccer moms are strung out on Xanax and Wine

I got on the causeway going north right as the storm was hitting Metairie and it was bonkers for about four miles. The wildest I've ever seen it when I was actually on the bridge. Wind was insane.

Have you made it over to Garrison Kitchen yet? I’m thinking once we get some cooler weather that is going to be milf headquarters

No but isn’t that pretty close to a couple yoga studios and boutiques?
Posted on 8/15/23 at 7:15 pm to tgrbaitn08
Unfortunately,"North Old Metairie" has not seen the influx of yoga studios and boutiques. I do wonder if they can afford such things up there.

Yea that is going to be prime milf picking in the fall. My wife is dying to go and it’s the heat of summer. Wait till she can wear flannel and uggs.

Poured here in Kenner too. Love a good evening rain. Maybe now my grass can start turning green again.
