Lost an uncle to cancer. He hadn't been feeling well, and when he went to the doctor and got the results, everyone was in shock. The doctors and hospital staff put together a go forward plan and told him what treatments they would put him on to beat it. He was gone 3 days later...
He wasn't even 40 yet. Left behind two beautiful children.

I have a similar hope. My wife passed from breast cancer in January. She was 30. Before that, she participated in 3 different clinical trials. I just hope it helps others one day.

Best friend's little brother was diagnosed with leukemia this year at 16. He just got back from St. Jude's, where he was kicking cancer's arse

You're consuming the same compounds. Genetically modifying an organism's nucleic acid doesn't introduce any foreign compounds - it simply alters the genotype such that the resultant protein confers resistance against a given selective pressure.

want to have the least chance of cancer, move to the country and eat only home grown foods. and stay away from french fries aka cancer fries.

A 6th grade friend died of liver cancer at 12. Traumatized me. 3 years later 15 year old friend died of bone cancer after living a year with amputated leg. I thought I would be next and never expected to be around this long. My son who didn't grow up with that cancer trauma was diagnosed with and died from it last year. Wish it had been me instead of him. Hate that old saying life's not fair ; fair only comes around once a year.

I saw some data on the ten most deadly forms of cancer. Prior to the introduction of GMO's into our food supply, they were at a slow growth rate in terms of numbers. On a line graph, it was virtually a flat line. After GMO's were introduced into our food supply, the line graph shot up like a hockey stick in all ten types. Coincidence? Certainly worth looking into. The problem, most of the people appointed to look into it and wont are former Monsanto/Dow high level employees. Coincidence? BTW, these people were appointed by Bush AND Obama. fricked up shite all the way around.

Yeah, but those treatments can also make things worse. Just depends on the person and the cancer. Double edged sword when the treatment can kill you before the cancer does. The lucky ones are rising in numbers, but so is the frequency of cancer in the population with each passing decade. Nutrition plays a big part in staying healthy, even when it comes to cancer. I've read of a few terminal patients that had no hope and couldn't use neither chemo nor radiation. Only to beat the cancer by changing their diet and lifestyles. Though everybody is different, while it may work for some, doesn't mean it can work for most. Doesn't hurt to try though.

To the number of doctors in the area.. Heart disease and cancer.... Answer is over utilization of ionizing radiation(ct scans, X-rays,mammograms).

In the last 5 years, my mom has survived breast cancer and stomach cancer. She had to have a double mastectomy and had probably 75% of her stomach removed. Both cancers were within 2-3 years of each other. She is doing great today though.
