So many prefixes for it but it means nothing today
Confection - party related
Profection - obsolete
Perfection - no flaws
affection - feeling or act of devotion
ETA because of my esteemed colleague- infection
Even one letter off and we have fiction and faction
wtf? How did fection slip past the QA?

Autocorrected it - profection is not used much which ALSO bothers me

Couth isn't a word either. Just uncouth.

It bothers me that "clusterfrick" is not a recognized word in official dictionaries. It applies to a lot of aspects of my life and those around it.
Hell, I use "clusterfrick" so much that my phone now auto-corrects to it...

“Fection”sounds like an inbred trying to explain why they are sick

It is a word. In Latin. The stem you are looking for is “fecto”
