Also the proper drink for front day is, of course, hot chocolate.

You misspelled bourbon

I’ve noticed a stretch of angst, anxiety, depression, and general unpleasant behavior. Honestly think the heat has something to do with it. A crisp football Saturday sounds like the cure for what ails us.

Front Day is only for Orleans Parish. Like Mardi Gras. You can have a front day somewhere else. But it’s not Front Day.

Looking at the weather turning, it may be safe to say that yesterdays swimming may be the last for the year.

Damn shame we don’t have a home football game!

Saints and LSU don’t deserve a home game with perfect weather. They deserve the miserable hot or blistering cold weather.

Celebrating a front is gayer than actually residing in NOLA

Our family celebrates by putting beach chairs in the middle of the road, facing north to the lake, waiting to be kissed by that sweet cold air.

A few soulless motorist from elsewhere get upset, but most folks just abandon their cars and join our vigil.

Both models I’m looking at keep Nola in the 60’s
Maybe it’ll be cooler than forecast

Zack at Fox8, the best met in Nola, seems to agree. 50’s for the northshore, south shore stays in the 60’s
