It's a good thing that the administration doesn't really care about US hostages.

They're only trying to appease their base which for some reason has decided to ride for a terrorist group.


It'll be interesting to see if Hamas actually comes up with 50 hostages considering how much difficulty they have had in the past finding them

This deal will not change the overall conflict. Israel is going to do this. They will not be dissuaded. However what would change the overall conflict is what the US does, it would at least change the timelines significantly. So to give Hamas more leverage over us, to change the overall conflict, would be a huge mistake.

There's a good chance they just delay the 4 days and don't give up many because they can't find them/ most are dead/they've trafficked some to other Arab countries
