Let's see if that four days holds. There is also the chance for Hamas to get more days if they release more hostages. What I read earlier was 1 day for every 10 additional hostages released.

Why? One of their stated goals has been to ensure the safe release of the hostages. This does that, even if it isn't the "best" deal that could have been reached.

If this Administration takes any credit for this deal the value of US hostages shoots up immensely. Hamas will then will try to leverage the rest of the US citizens to force the United States to pressure Israel even more. This is right up hamas's alley this is what he do. They need to take the W and move on and not play domestic politics with it.
This deal will not change the overall conflict. Israel is going to do this. They will not be dissuaded. However what would change the overall conflict is what the US does, it would at least change the timelines significantly. So to give Hamas more leverage over us, to change the overall conflict, would be a huge mistake.
