Regarding the support for attacks against Israelis in Israel: The context of part of the report was a response to Israeli settler attacks on Palestinian villages in the B Zones. The data was collected during personal interviews, so the context of the discussion/interview matters. Some of that support is very likely support for any/all attacks on Israeli civilians (terrorism). Some of it is most definitely "fight back against the settlers."
Note: The settlers are about as varied as the Palis. Some are pretty benign (other than setting up shop in what's supposed to be Pali land) and some are dangerous as hell, attacking and killing Palis, burning their shite, etc. (Sound familiar?)
You bring up settlers and the Pali response is most definitely going to skew toward violence.
But hey, you're the expert. You probably know all this already.

Dude has been simping for Palestine for a solid week while suggesting he is a cross between Robert O’Neil and Ethan Hunt. But he can’t really talk about it. We just need to take his word for it.

He is actually right on the subject. The question of support for Hamas is like supporting a political party. We all side one way or the other here in the States. But when 9/11 happened we all united & agreed there need to be reprisals. Same there for Palestinians with supporting striking back against Israel.
The real question is how many support terrorist attacks (ie. Oct 7th, suicide bombers, attacking soft targets). Anyone that supports terrorist attacks are fair game in my opinion because they are a broken animal and deserve to be put down.
