I'm convinced they are going to be doing Landings from sea. But I think those Landings will consist of specialized fighting groups that are going after specific targets. While the methodical approach squeezes from the North and the east, those guys will be "raiding". They're going to make Hamas run east to west constantly to try to pin down any particular units.

In addition to the tunnels and booby traps Hamas is probably trying to have a couple of "groznys" where the Chechens pinned down FSB troops their solution to that is to make them stay on the move to even engage them.

Even worse I believe somebody on English Home Secretary’s cabinet parents are stuck there. That ought to tell you trust them about Palestinian affairs as much I trust the Biden Administration on Iranian affairs…..all compromised!

I read about 1st Minister of Scotland’s in-laws being stuck in one of the cities closer to Egypt after going to visit friends or family.

I think the ground offensive would’ve started a few days ago had they not been holding out hope that they could save some hostages. In that respect the tactic of taking hostages was successful for Hamas and likely allowed for the escape of many fighters or at the least more time to prepare and booby trap most of the city.

You see the X post about why the IDF did the limited incursion last night?

That must be it, I saw it run across the ticker on the Gaza camera about 23:00 last night

that was to recover bodies of executed hostages was it not?

Obviously Hamas wanted them to know they were there. And obviously IDF would be interested in confirming that they were dead

Rockets being fired from Gaza right now on the cameras. They appeared to have been intercepted by the Iron dome as there were multiple explosions up in the sky after the volley was fired.

I imagine Hamas made sure the IDF was aware they were there. Sick bastards!

One thing I think we are all underestimating is the craftiness of the israelis. We, USA, are pretty damn crafty. But the Israelis understand these guys much better than we do.

They have no compunction of doing things like staging their own fake munitions smuggling run loaded with bombs. Planting trackers on people treated in their hospitals, putting their own fake Hamas units in a building holding out to try to draw Fighters out of the tunnels, Etc

These are the guys that managed to kill multiple Iranian scientists, in Iran with Magnetic bombs and poison, invented the cell phone bomb, and numerous things we probably never ever heard of.

you left out how the locals will be helping the IDF root out Hamas terrorists that have seized control without support of the people who live there that’s what’ll make it easy

Don’t be so sure of that. I fear the IDF is walking into a trap if they go all in.

Well that clears up some speculation in here about what we will or won’t do.

Just looked at Google Maps Traffic on satellite view. I have been studying the geographical layout of Israel and Gaza.

No traffic data anymore from Gaza or Israel. All of the surrounding Arab countries show it.

I would think the IDF turns of location to Google as to not show locations of masses of equipment. But did the ragheads turn off their phones ? Or did their batteries die ?

I think I read somewhere that IDF was cutting cell and internet service. What happened ? Thanks.

If the ragheads need their phone fixed , we have a bunch of raghead cell phone fixers we could send back to them.

If I was a cynic I might read that as the US telling Israel how to draw us deeper into the conflict.

Two quasi off topic items.

1) Has anyone heard more about the fact the the just before the 7th that the IDF pulled a couple battalions from the Gaza wall to the West Bank to pull security for the Holiday?

2) Anyone else watch the CCTV footage from Kibbutz Be’eri (sp?)? I listened to a guy on X a couple days ago that said the primary Hamas troops that conducted assaults/breaches were their “shock troops” and the regulars followed in trace later. If that is the case, I stand behind more about what I said about them being JV level. Dear Lord, I would be killing my Plt Sgt or Sqd Ldrs if they ever allowed something so half arse. What is really sad is a good Marine Rifle Squad could have thwarted that attack. I now believe the story about the Kibbutz that the young lady organized the defense and fought off +60 Hamas terrorist.
