Even if we aren’t helping shoot the drones down, Israeli F-16s will be all over them as will the Iron Dome to any that sneak through.

This could be over really quick, either Iran is gonna send all over their forces for ground assault ….. or Israeli forces are going to drop a bunch of massive bombs and make Iran one big giant fricking crater

Yep, Our government couldn't / wouldn't? openly sanction this event but obviously we're on standby for support as needed. I'd like to know what covert ops are engaged right now over there.Time will tell.

Israel has about 250 combat aircraft total. They would have held some back for local air defense, so they got virtually every plane they owned into the air or on strip alert. That is impressive, considering even the best air forces usually have from 15-25% down for maintenance at any given time.
Another thing is all these planes taking off would have generated a huge electronic signature, and obviously been visible to anybody with a functioning pair of eyeballs. Russia, for one, would have picked this up and could have given the Iranians a couple hours notice but chose not to. That's interesting on a number of levels.
