uh,
seriously, when I was at LSU and took a CJ course, the prof had previously taught at San Jose State, that had a huge CJ dept., at the time he said it was a requirement of the SJPD that all applicants hve masters degrees

When watching these videos where random folks question the law while interacting with Law Enforcement, the Law Enforcement folks always ask "Are you a lawyer or something".
The insinuation is that unless you are a lawyer you can't understand the law. To my knowledge a law degree isn't required to get in Law Enforcement and those guys believe they know the law too.
