I'm going to assume that everything you have said about yourself is true. Lets say you are in fact in the top 2% of income and your kid is a national champion in some form of martial arts. And you drive a jag and your kid has a mustang GT. Congratulations on all of your success.
But I am surrounded by people who would laugh at your comments in here and other threads. Not because they are jealous, because these people could spend the money you spend annually in a month without batting an eye. But because they would never have a "conversation" with their "peers" in the manner you claim, and they sure as hell wouldn't waste their day on a message board trying to validate their lifestyle.
In truth, I feel bad for you. You genuinely don't seem to have much going on in your life outside traveling to watch your son excel in a hobby, and whenever he goes off to college you probably won't know what to do with yourself other than try and feel superior to a bunch of people on the Internet.

Hey now, I'm 37. I was 30 when I retired. And I agree, it's a strange thing to "admire".
