Is "y'all" the greatest pronoun ever created?

Relative frequency of y'all by state:

From Wikipedia:

The usage of y'all can satisfy several grammatical functions, including an associative plural, a collective pronoun, an institutional pronoun, and an indefinite pronoun.
Y'all can in some instances serve as a "tone-setting device to express familiarity and solidarity." When used in the singular, y'all can be used to convey a feeling of warmth towards the addressee. In this way, singular usage of y'all differs from French, Russian or German, where plural forms can be used for formal singular instances.
quote:
All y'all, all of y'all, and alls y'all are used by some speakers to indicate a larger group than is necessarily implied by simply y'all. All y'all can also be used for emphasis; the existence of this etymologically pleonastic form is further evidence that speakers now perceive y'all as a grammatically indivisible unit.

But Pinsker has another option for us to consider: What about y’all? Warm, friendly, and lyrical, y’all is objectively superior not only to all the aforementioned pronouns but to its original component words, you and all. It rolls off the tongue in ways that no other alternative does, it’s economical, and unlike friends, people, or team, it doesn’t immediately signal to listeners that you’ve planned the way you are going this address the group. Y’all also takes on additional grammatical labor like a champ, giving rise to beautifully efficient contraction like y’all’d’ve (you all would have) or y’all’ll (you all will). While there’s some debate on where the apostrophe goes (it’s between the y and the all, duh), y’all provides an uncontroversial and elegant solution to one of English’s worst shortcomings.

"Y'all" has the added benefit of me not having to consult some sort of resource to figure out how to properly pronounce it.

Looks like I’ve been woke since I could talk.

It really is much better than "you guys" for you all. And "yalls" is way better than the "you guyses" that comes out of people's mouths when they try to make it possessive

Settle something for me...
When indicating a noun that is a possession of y’all, is the correct spelling y’alls or y’all’s?
The ‘s is more consistent with how we indicate possession in the rest of the English language, but something about 2 apostrophes just feels dirty. Y’alls just looks like it would be the correct spelling IMO, but my a-hole iphone continually autocorrects it to the double apostrophe.
Is it “What’s y’alls plan?” Or “What’s y’all’s plan?” I say the former. Am I right, or is Apple?

It's not uncommon for a possessive pronoun to drop the use of "'s" (apostrophe s) and just use "s".
For example, the possessive form of "it" is "its".
So, I would think the possessive form of "y'all" would be "y'alls".

Y'all is absolutely the best pronoun (and the best contraction fwiw) ever created. I spent years of my professional career ashamed of it and intentionally avoided it in business settings. Then I realized it's efficiency, simplicity, and feel good colloquial tone and have been using it a lot lately. It's actually surprisingly disarming in a business setting, which is usually beneficial. I think the negative connotation has dwindled significantly as southerners have resettled all over the country and planted the seed.

Someone please tell Tim Cook lol
Apple’s autocorrect algorithm generally seems to be decent at picking up patterns and adjusting over time. But for some reason on this one, no matter how many times I go back and delete the added ‘, they just keep adding it.

Interesting take, but I think you’re wrong.
