Is ‘ya heard me’ still a saying?

Do people still as if you heard them when speaking? I haven’t heard it much lately.
I remember a few years ago some saints player was being interviewed and asked the interviewer if he heard him about 10 times in a 5 min segment. I’d like to bring it back if it’s no longer a thing, ya heard

I still hear it from time to time, but then again in my line of work I'm not exactly dealing with the cream of society.

I think it’s just “ya heard?” Now.

It’s a verbal pause in a question form, which engages the listener, who usually answers “yes” to the question.

I still say it to my wife and repeat it until she acknowledges that she did in fact heard me.

I also like a well placed "feel me" when it's called for.

I had a class with Kenny bell and Eddie Lacy at Alabama and they did a presentation and every other word that Bell spoke was "yean heard"
