I don't get it. For example the restaurant The Boulevard is always packed and to me it's just more expensive Chili's.

the one here is the same crowd every time
flat bills with long pubey beards sitting at the bar.
travel ball teams at the tables
The food is basically cajun food for people who can't eat cajun food. The beers are cold but so damn expensive.

You’ve made this retarded joke before. Have you been to Mandeville? There are very few chain restaurants here compared to most towns.
Stop being a prick.

Unfortunately most of the restaurants in the “shopping district” are chains. Most probably because these are all relatively new real estate developments. Covington’s downtown food scene is much, much better.

the last time i ate there the food was expensive and very marginal, and the waitresses were ugly. service was mediocre.

agreed. almost all of the chain restaurants are right off the interstate, which isnt a coincidence. once you get deeper into Mandeville and Covington there arent that many.

They took off too many things on their menu. Many people have stopped going.

This
I don’t understand why people actually go to these chain restaurants
It’s all the same food just in a different dry wall fluorescent lit chamber

It is a franchise so every location is different. Locally, the one off 635 in Las Colinas closed despite a great location. I never went to that location but I heard bad things.

Lester drove through Covington once and thinks he’s got the whole place figured out.

The corporate location used to be off Coursey Blvd back in the day and it was always busy. Is that building still vacant?
Champp’s then Mugshots were the restaurants before Walk On’s on Corporate.

Went to the one in Metairie a few weeks ago and had the same experience. Lunch on a friday and it was empty in there, sat at the bar, took forever for the bartender (a quite hefty girl) to come take our order. My buddy and I are having a conversation while eating and every time I put my burger down she would come ask if I was done.
They even removed the beer taps from the booths which I thought was a cool feature that set themselves apart from other restaurants.

The ones in DFW have gone way downhill. The one in Irving shut down and the last time we went to the one in Frisco we sat down, weren't served or acknowledged for 20 mins and ended up leaving.

Cheese logs have shrunk
They’ve changed the mozzarella a few times to an alternative that sucks
The rewards have gotten better though

You are out of your mind. They have a very good burger.

I used to love their stuffed burger but apparently they got rid of it.

Wow that's really bad. I would've done the same.
The comments on here about the servers not looking as good is also very true. Walk-Ons originally was looking to basically be a Louisiana/Southern version of Twin Peaks. The women servers were all college age, in shape and attractive. Sadly just like other places like Hooters and Wing House I saw the quality of women at the Orlando area Walk-Ons go downhill as well.
Sadly it seems like all the breastaurants are struggling in that regard. Hooters is a shadow of what it was. Wing House and Walk-Ons have gone downhill (as several posters in this thread have posted about at various Walk-One locations). Twin Peaks still has good looking women per say put they overwhelmingly have a trashy aspect to them. Hardly any of those girls do not have significant tattooes. I don't mind small ones myself but I'm talking whole arm or whole leg tattooes.
I guess during the pandemic those servers went to OnlyFans and never came back.

Lucky for us, it's being renovated and it will be a hookah lounge. Another nail in the coffin for Sherwood and coursey. Also, add in the new juicy seafood place opening up in the old Golden corral on Sherwood. Good days are ahead
