It doesn’t work correctly if it is not across your chest, but under your arm. Might as well not wear it at all.

It’s so your body doesn’t become a projectile and kill someone else.

Wear it and don’t be such a dick bag.

Cool arsehole, you must have missed the part where I said i was wearing it. Asking for legitimate responses because many cops don't enforce this, but i should have known most idiots on here would respond like this.

Weird photo - don't we see the driver's seat belt hanging over by the door lock..?

Steering wheel is on the right side. Take note of the other seat back.

Thanks for the high insurance rates, fricktard.

Yes, because everyones insurance rates dropped once they implemented the seat belt and helmet laws. Funny thing when Mike Foster repealed the helmet law my rates didn't go up.

I don't understand people who gladly give up their rights. It's not about insurance or safety, it's about how to generate more money for the local government.

If you're wearing it like you say you are, you're not actually wearing it. Quit trying to win this argument, you're wrong and it's embarrassing.

I don't understand people who don't have the mental or physical capacity to buckle a fricking seat belt correctly

Most of the social media selfies I notice these days are people proudly displaying their seat belt habits while in their car.

They tried to get me with that one time. Unless it's a Sheriff just tell them you are a Sovereign Citizen and there's nothing they can do. Make sure you record it or they'll lie and say you didn't tell them.

You missed the point completely. When you refuse to wear a seat belt which you causes you to be ejected from your car and into a tree and insurance pays for you to eat through a tube the rest of your life, guess what happens to everyone's rates?

Because in Louisiana there's something called a seat belt gag order where a judge cannot disclose to a jury whether or not an accident victim was wearing a seat belt.

You can thank your friendly neighborhood injury lawyer for keeping that law.

He'd probably still be in the vehicle but with his head moving towards the steering wheel as the airbag deploys his neck would snap.

Ain't trying to win shite! Also, you can't be wrong when you never said anything to be right idiot. Was simply asking if this was a law cause many people aren't aware that it is. Bunch of immature adults on this site! Your parents must be proud!

I get that point and I'm saying it's a scare tactic. Have your rates dropped since the seat belt law? They haven't, in fact they keep getting worse.
