so you are still trying to argue that this house is cookie cutter.
Common does not mean cookie cutter

Never said this 15,000sq/ft $8,000,000 home is a cookie cutter.

Are you trying to argue that Plantation style homes are unheard of and rare in Louisiana?

It appears the house dropped from 7.5 mil to 4.995 in the last few hours.

ETA: it's definitely not cookie cutter. It looks to be A Hays Town inspired (the exterior at least).

I prefer the guest house to the main house.

I was born and raised in Zachary. It’s the best.

Not fricking with you at all.

My entire point was why build a style house that is very common in the area but at 6-7 times the size in Zachary of all places.

Now we are splitting hairs over cookie cutter and cookie cutter styled houses (which are both incorrect.) Have at it man

Why is this thread anchored?

$7.5M....in Zachary? Good luck EVER selling that

It's now listed at $4.995MM, that's a pretty huge drop.

Are these people aware there are other colors besides white?

I'm guessing a sauna...You know, for when you and a few hundred of your friends want to relax. That little stove would take an entire day to heat that room up, though I guess that could be just for looks or to generate steam.

As opposed to what? Building a Mediterranean style house? A castle? Plantation style is THE style that fits that area so I don’t get why you would build anything different that is out of place and harder to market.

When I lived in GA, I lived right by this 47,000 sq ft house. LINK

Building some stupid shite like this for 60 mil plus in Cumming, GA doesn’t seem as bad as a large home that fits the history of the area.
