I tried to talk my friend into getting his Panamera Turbo in Chalk, which is a bit less grey than Nardo, but he went silver...I think resale was on his mind.

Sick.

Yes, chalk really looks different depending on the light. Can look anywhere from dirty white to the color in your pic. Fashion grey is similar. If you are leasing it and the special color you have to have, or it's a GT porsche that is hard to get in PTS then go for it. In a 60-70k car I don't think it's worth it. When I bought the S5 I knew it wasn't a long term keeper but they weren't sure about the RS5 being released. Luckily I got a good deal on the S5 and my friend is an Audi dealer GM, it will cost me to flip within a year but not SO bad. The heart wants what it wants.

Guessing the 66 Mustang will actually increase in value

I think the market for that era of classic cars is actually deflating some as the boomer generation gets older.

dude probably had a dead hooker in the trunk and wants to get rid of the car in case the victims DNA is still there. Ditches a link to the murder, makes the wife happy.

pretty sure that wouldn't help the situation in the days of CarFax

Some of these classic cars are "wanting is better than having" Yes they have a cool factor and mystique about them but sometimes the driving experience isn't really that great. I drove a classic 60's car as my first car in the 90's and I wouldn't go back. Id probably by classic cars only as an investment now.

But that is not happening, younger guys are throwing in late model technology and cars are actually appreciating in value.

Rare low production cars will always be sought after.

I'm hearing this one as well...

I sold some old gun my paw paw brought back from ww2 and bought my girl a micheal coors purse. I wasn’t using it and it’s not good to leave assault rifles laying around with her kids in the house
