If you know when they going to do it again and can post before hand please do so. Tracks are 5 minutes from my house (Raceland) I'd like to see an old Steam engine running through.

Not a good look to be making fun of a challenged man while admitting to be an adult who posts on a model train forum

Read my OP. I clearly state that if he is special and is sharing his hobby then that's awesome.

My thing was, if you take away the room, trains, hat, etc. I don't think he looks like a special needs guy.

Y'all act like no one has ever lied on the internet to garner sympathy and possibly donations/charity.

The world would be a far better place if people did what they enjoyed and stopped worrying about what the rest of the world thinks about it.

This is an interesting subject -- so, grown men play with trains in their garage? Where do their wives park their car, assuming that any woman would want to marry a man that still plays with toys.

"Honey, I'm going to need the garage to play with my toy trains. You'll need to park outside."

Both model railroading and train photography are huge hobbies. Rod Stewart, Nat King Cole, Frank Sinatra and Neil Young are/were big aficionados.

He buttons his top button. He won't look at the camera. He holds himself like an autistic person in both pictures you posted.

Most of the train collectors I know are affluent and happily married (and don't have their trains in the garage due to climate control issues).

There are quite a few physicians in the hobbies (Harvey Carter, in Shreveport, was one - he also collected fire trucks).

I wouldn't calls a fully detailed $2500 brass locomotive a "toy."
