Now that's actually a lesson that is usable in professional services. This is akin to shipping a proposal to UPS via Fedex. Always, always, check for hidden data.

Generally I agree, but it’s still standard software all across the globe

Maybe more frustrating is the colleague that has continued struggles sharing the correct screen on Teams or constantly forgetting they are on mute when talking.

I am this person you describe. My deepest apologies for not mastering your software. You should see the way I’ve butchered PowerPoint. It’s comical how inept I am. Not ept. No eptness.

No. It pisses me tf off. Infuriates me when they right click copy, right click paste cells/rows over and over. Nobody I work with knows how to use a simple xlookup function. They should teach these things in school to have our workforce be more productive.

Side note: AI is eventually going to put all of us out of a job anyways.

It’s a good thing I’m the boss or you might fire me. Alas, here my software incompetence is rewarded.

The thing that blows my mind is that a simple google search will reveal exactly how to do whatever you want to do in Excel. People just don't think to search.

Yeah
Someone expecting us to use Excel.
I have zero desire to use a spreadsheet and will work hard to avoid it.
If you are presenting a product or service which requires such a program, expect to be ignored or bypassed.
I did use them back in Corel Data Perfect and early Excel days. Just hated it then as much as I hate it now. I hired people to do that so I would not need to - surely not accepting it now.
