I don't like most things that involve a lot of people. Not a wedding or baby shower or big party type of person. And people that are seem foreign to me.

I enjoy going to weddings if it’s one of my friends and they’re is nothing significant going on that weekend. Not everyday you get all your friends in one spot with free alcohol and a private live band.

Not a big fan of going to my GF’s friends weddings where idk the people that well.

Any excuse to wear a suit and drink alcohol sounds decent enough to me.

I'm all for the drinking but I have to wear a suit to work every day. I never wear a suit to weddings unless I'm in the wedding party.

I've only been to Catholic, Episcopalian and Jewish weddings. All huge parties with open bars and great food. I love going to weddings.

When the biopsy misdiagnosed the tumor as benign and later discovered malignant. I'd rather get invited to a wedding.

Booz, food, music and possibly the chance to hit on hot single women in full horn mode after watching one of their friends marry Prince Charming.... Who wants that..?

Yes. Getting an invitation and going to a Baptist wedding with no booze!

Weddings are great. If the wife attends, it's guaranteed sex that evening.

If she drinks enough while there, there's an outside shot at anal.

Just kidding. Still get to FHRITP though.

Anytime I get one Sept-Nov I cringe and wonder before opening how close a friend or relative they are.

A buddy had his wedding on the night of the SEC championship game when LSU played Tennessee.

Skipped it and watch the game!

15 years later they're now divorced, but the Tigers still have that W baby!

Let’s be honest:

Most weddings feature a bunch of corpulent una-browed bridesmaids line-dancing while their baws smoke outside. The “money-dance” ensues and the newly wed couple will never leave (“everyone was having sooo much fun...”).

If you say it’s a cheap drunk, then you’re a cheap sob who gives inadequate wedding gifts: you’re supposed to pay more than the cost of your ticket to this debacle.

I have probably skipped 15+ weddings in the last couple years. I’m not traveling across the country for a wedding between two people that aren’t good friends.
