No Facebook, no twitter....the fact that grown arse men have to report their daily bowel movements is ridiculous....friends close enough, I talk to them regularly....if not, probably wouldn't speak to them anyways...I see it as an infringement of my privacy really....I send pics to individuals and text/talk....I don't want all my business out there for anyone to see...including Uncle Sam

I don't have Twitter, Instagram or Snapchat. I do have Facebook but use it mainly as an address book.

I've deleted the tards from facebook who annoy me and it's pretty useful.
See, I have a lot of friends and family(many from out of state) and I love seeing their post on facebook with pictures of kids and things happening in life. It's too many for anyone to keep up with trying to write letters and mail pictures(for the old farts) or send text pics.
My kids school and our mens club sends updates via facebook.
My country club spreads news about golf tourneys and bar specials, etc via facebook.
My tennis and volleyball leagues use facebook.
I like following some of my favorite bars and restaurants on facebook to see what's going on.
Our neighborhood group uses facebook to help update each other on events, crime, political items, etc.
My kids sports teams use facebook a lot now. It's sad that my wife has to copy and paste updates to send emails to the one's who refuse to use facebook.

You must not have much family that lives far away. If you do, with FB you could be seeing videos of the kids walking or riding a bike for the first time. I love being able to keep up with all of the nieces and nephews on there.

I have no social media interests in my life. Ditto for Eli Manning. So many people spend hours on that crap so I prefer to avoid it. I have no desire to see other peoples activities and I dam sure prefer if they know nothing about mine. Facebook is way to political for me and via twitter I have no desire to read what some douche bag has to say. My friends and family know all they need to know about me. Keep that stupidity! But I am addicted to The Rant
