Its the top story on nypost.com

The man who discovered the decomposed body of a Georgia father-of-five and called 911 said he detected a “rotting, dead animal stench” as he drove by a Louisiana neighborhood — and was then shocked to see feet sticking out of a rug.

She went from thanking the BRPD and feeling "relieved" when they found her husband's body(she admitted to investigators he had gone on 2-3 day benders in the past and had only been 'sober' a year) to suddenly seeking 'justice'?

This wreaks of litigious intentions.
I don't mind you as much being just a penis licker.... don't be a boot licker too

It's also known now that she too is a recovering addict and has been 'sedated' throughout this entire ordeal.

BRPD doesn’t investigate real crimes with innocent victims. I am not aurprised they won't investigate an OD.

Why would they? Why waste resources? Middle aged white men are dropping like flies from OD’s.

I agree. People are acting like they should.

I was saying they should investigate real crimes before this. (Although I do realize a real crime could have been committed here but I am in the FAFO camp for known addicts)

Even if he relapsed and put himself in a bad situation, a crime may have still occurred. He could have been given bad drugs and was dumped like trash. That’s still a crime. He could have been with a group, injected with a lethal dose of something on purpose so they could rob him and dumped his body. That’s a crime. It’s just a possible crime BRPD doesn't seem to care about or potentially investigate.

Or he could’ve OD in a trap house and they needed to move the body out of their “establishment”. His phone and wallet were clearly not on him at the time. I see the removal of the body happening in most any other city, unless the consumption happens in the middle of nowhere in which they’d possibly leave the body where it is. Addicts aren’t phoning the police for a body removal.

Well if it’s as prevalent as you are saying the. They should be investigating and arresting the dealers and closing down the trap houses…

You don’t think there’s a possibility tPOS shoved the guy into a trunk of a car, drove to some shithole off of Scenic Hwy, killed him, then dumped the body?

Breauxsif, you might want to go and edit some post history. Geez man, this is the 3rd post that Millard was dumped on Scenic hwy.

This is the least likely scenario. You guys think way too highly of Baton Rouge criminals, like they are masterminds who just go around abducting people for fun and hiding the bodies

Well I wouldn't say LEAST likely.

He didn't say "on" he said "off of". The old funeral home is on Scenic highway which is more recognizable than that random street behind the building that hardly anyone lives on anymore.

You can’t be a great dad if you let another man adopted your children and don’t have anything to do with them. Not sure if any of that was true but if it was, that’s not dad of the year material. Not to mention I’m thinking going on 2-3 day binges doesn’t equal being a good dad either. He was an addict who had kids.

Many family members of addicts refuse to face reality. When my brother OD’d my mom acted like he was a wonderful person, not someone who made our lives hell for decades and preyed on innocent people to make sure he could get his next fix. I think they only want to remember the person they were when not using.

Of course, they do or most do, I would think. I had a very close relative who went to rehab more times than I can count and he it below rock bottom more times than I can count. He conned his mother out of money and always used it for alcohol and gambling after lying to her. He managed to be sober for 7 straight years before relapsing and relapsing and just plain drinking all the time. He opened credit cards in other people's names. He died with an empty bottle in his bed with him. I had a lot of good times with him for a lifetime. I try to focus on those times now. There is no need to linger over the bad.

It depends on if she was the designated beneficiary or not. When you have a policy, you name the beneficiary, so it can be anyone (not limited to a legal spouse, etc.)

BRPD doesn’t investigate anything - that was made evident by this case
