Sources tell UWK a man was seen on video with Nathan nearby going to the ATM. Sources say he was detained Tuesday by Baton Rouge Police, questioned, then released.
Missing Georgia Man Update Saturday – February 25
Amber told WSB-TV in Atlanta that surveillance footage shows “someone of a different race using her husband’s debit card.”
“It shows a male using his card,” Millard told WSB-TV. “We’re just at a standstill for more camera footage to be presented.”
She says that she canceled the card Saturday AFTER the withdrawal was made.

He didn't say anything about buzzards circling. He just said "no buzzards". And I know for a fact that if you see buzzards around, there's likely something dead they're all poking on.

Here is where I think its how it was written confuses the issue.
“seen on video with Nathan nearby” could mean seen on the same video screen grab but had no interaction nor relation. It may not even be the same person who used his ATM card if they were just looking for anything that showed Nathan and this stranger shows up on a screen grab. So they question him amd realize he has no connection and let him go.
We are lacking so many key facts. I lean to what I said yesterday, he ran away. But just as likely ran into foul play. I say 51/49 percent wise.

I was more looking for signs of them picking at things in the brush or coming and going. Just signs and indications that something decaying may be in the area.
And look, I know what I'm doing is pretty much pointless and stupid. I prefer it that way actually. I don't have any care to find anything. My only reward would be nightmares and the cops crawling up my arse for my troubles.
Could be in a crackhouse. Could be in the river. Could be anywhere.
But I know the area and some jaunts here and there kicking around, taking some peeks around...well, I can at the very least tell you some places you won't find anything other than dumped trash and junkie camps.
Not that it's worth anything, but it was something a little peon like me could do. Made me feel better at least.

It's not. I honestly don't expect the powers that be to do anything. This guy was an out of town person not connected to anybody here. To our inept leadership, he doesn't matter.
You've probably done more than anyone has been expected to do. Hopefully this woman gets closure in this soon enough

What you are doing is great, and very few would even try. I’m sure the family cares and thats what matters.
To the others, I have read how bad the police is there. Problem is, until something comes to light we have no way of knowing if they doing all they can to judge them on this case. There may be things they don’t want released that are only known to them.
Then if/as they interview people they can trap them to disclose something only the perp would know which is strong court evidence. Not saying they are, but we just don’t know how active they are yet.
I really hope resolution comes sooner than later. For the family its not good either way (ran away or foul play) but their life is on hold right now until answers come forward.
