Honestly this is a huge reason I workout 5 days a week. Never had to test my fighting skills, so not sure how good of a fighter I am, but I look intimidating.
Get asked for advice probably 1/4 trips to the grocery store

I know the post office and the federal building on 7th street have cameras all over them. If the perp tossed the phone at convention and 7th walking north there’s a good chance they have them on video.

People thought the Jewish tourist that went missing in New Orleans last year was murdered. It was being reported his credit cards were being used and such. In the end he jumped off the bridge and committed suicide. They didn’t find his body for 2 months.
All that to say; there might actually be no perps

Tomorrow will be day 6 since he has been missing. I can't believe they haven't found him yet unless they burned his body in a car like they often do in NOLA to get rid of the evidence.

Why do you dipshits try to create stories. His pin was used on his debit card. He didn’t od between happy and walk to his hotel.

His wife needs to come over here and have a press conference. Get a good attorney - one well known and who knows how to drum up press.
Then get on tv. That’s what it takes to make the powers-that-be listen to you here.

It happened on Gayosa St off of Scenic Hwy in 2007 when a White guy was found burned beyond recognition and had been shot multiple times. Jason Fourmy was the name I believe. Was caught up in the drug game, which resulted in his untimely death.

True, I’m also in this category. They second guess confrontation, including surprise attacks, if you appear capable of disarming and shoving a barrel up their arse. Most criminals are dumb, but not completely stupid. And they want an easy fast target.
eta: Looking the part helps, but a little training on a heavy bag or similar will go a long way if you’re ever tested. Basic coordination and balance during weight transfer gives a person a huge advantage over a brawling street fighter. Even more so against a run of the mill dumbass that wants an easy score.
You have to keep this in mind so that you never strike first in an ordinary-someone’s-pissed-off-and-talking-shite-to-you scenario unless absolutely necessary, because you’ll be able to break a normal person with one or 2 blows.

It’s a shame he’s not a 21 year old blonde female.
Nancy Grace, Brian Entin, etc. would have had this wrapped up by yesterday.
Sigh. Instead, it just gets a few pages on the OT Lounge.

We need to get this Matt Still guy in this thread. Looks like he’s been best friends with him since Middle School. He’s trying to get the word out and seems to have some more details, including that his money clip was found with American Express card in it, but no ID (doesn’t say where in the interview)

I have his email address if someone wants to reach out to him

Why have we not gotten one video, even a short clip, of him from that night on the news?
Something that might have jogged memories of "I do remember that guy with that hat leaving Happy's."
Here's my burning questions:
1) What time exactly did he leave Happy's and was there any video of him exiting from either the front or back entrance? There is a camera literally right above the doorway of Happy's. Did he turn left or right when he walked out? It should be absolutely clear from the angle of the camera.
2) On 3rd Street (where it meets Convention Street), there is a First Horizon bank. On google maps, you can clearly see that on the Brick Facade beneath the banks sign on 3rd Street (direct route from Happy's back to hotel) that there is a really good quality surveillance camera.
Is there any footage of him traveling that night, in either direction, past that camera or the bank's ATM camera?
3) At 171 3rd Street, it appears to be a residential building, on the black overhang (kind of hidden behind the tree on google maps), there is another high quality surveillance camera facing the direction of the hotel. Same question as above.
4) Across from 171 3rd Street, there is Watermark Hotel (the old Louisiana National Bank building), there is a nice surveillance camera right below the W in the sign. Same question as above.
5) The cement utility pole right in front of Happy's. Is that a camera on it about 2/3rds up on google maps? If so, does that show anyone loitering outside looking for someone to leave Happy's?
6) Can BRPD show an exact map of where the phone was found? And then what surveillance is around those areas?
7) There is a good camera on the front of Stroubes Chop House on 3rd and North Blvd? Can we confirm that he never made a wrong turn out of Happy's and head on 3rd away from the hotel?
Even if some details are embarrassing to the family (perhaps he left with another man/woman + who maybe drugged him and forced him a car), the safety of citizens in Baton Rouge is more important to let people know how he ended up in the untenable situation that he did.

Also, we need the Client or BRPD to have a press conference to share with us these answers - if they are serious about wanting help to solve this.
1) Did you all stay to the end of the game? It was a scarcely attended crowd and a 4 point game with a minute to go (so probably wouldn't have motivation to leave early).
If they did leave after the game, the final buzzer was at 8:04PM CT.
2) How did they get from the PMAC to Happy's? Someone drive or Uber? if drive, where exactly did they park and who's car?
3) Who suggested Happy's? Was it impromptu because it was close to the hotel? Or had Nathan or "The Client" been there before and suggested it specifically?
4) Since it was a 6PM CT game, did they eat dinner at the PMAC or did they eat at Happy's (if Happy's served food that night). Could he have left Happy's at 10:30PM looking for somewhere to grab a snack like a convenience store or other bar food?
5) Did they sit at the Bar, Table, or Booth? Did he ever get up to use the bathroom/smoke and leave his drink unattended? If he went to do either, did "The Client" stay behind to keep an eye on the drink (if unattended).
6) Who paid for the bill at Happy's (closed out the check)? If Nathan, did he accidentally flash or leave on the table a pretty robust Money Clip showing cash? Does surveillance show anyone looking in his direction when Nathan is paying the bill (if he did).
7) Why exactly did they not both leave Happy's together? Did The Client stay behind and if so, why? They both had to be at the job site the next morning at 8AM. It was a weeknight.
Or did they leave together and if so where did they split apart?
8) How many drinks did they have at the PMAC and then at Happy's?
Questions for Wife:
1) Did he fly on a non-stop from Atlanta? If so, was it the Delta 9:06AM Flight or 1:53PM Flight? Did he say if he went anywhere before checking into the hotel. How did he get to the Hotel? How did he get from the Hotel to the PMAC for the game?
2) Had he traveled to Baton Rouge for business before? If so, is this his normal Hotel for Baton Rouge? How long was he staying in Baton Rouge for?

This whole story is fishy. You're not getting forcefully abducted or murdered by someone on Third St. and Convention. I used to live in that area and there are police everywhere over there due to a police station located right in the Convention St. garage. Contrary to what some people say, that is a fairly safe area. Now, if he wondered over to the other side of the interstate from downtown, that's a different story. I wouldn't completely dismiss the idea that he either just wanted to disappear or even that he took his own life (hopefully that's not the case). But if I were the police I would be interested in talking with whoever he was hanging out with that night at Happy's.

This is partly my concern. Baton Rouge absolutely has its fair share of crime issues.
However, for the sake of the hotels and restaurants in the area, BRPD should swiftly put out any information that debunks a "Boogie Man" that was preying on tourists at 10:30PM on 3rd Street (if he wandered away from 3rd Street) OR that they are on the hunt for "Persons on Interests" that we should all be on alert for specifically (show the ATM footage).
