With all of the technological advances? Robots at McDonald’s...AI for engineering purposes...maybe we will all just be sitting on our asses?

Even with automation. There will always be quality control/assurance jobs. Someone has to verify that things are built right.

If literally everything became automated - farming, mining, production, education, medical care, robot production/repair, etc. - then everything they produce and every service they provide would be free and money would be a relic of the past.

HVAC. Even with technological advances, it is going to break and the need for repair will simply increase the cost of labor as it becomes more technologically advanced.
