Commerce? Or Dawsonville?
Dawsonville. Wife and I live in Flowery Branch and like to shop there when we go on over seas trips. Kind of a tradition for us to go there and get a few clothes for our trips

Any time someone visits India the first thing they notice is the overwhelming smell and stink everywhere.
That stink isn’t the people. It’s the peoples shite and piss and rotting garbage. You never forget that smell either.

It’s bad when Patel gets in the elevator at the office or enters the stall next to me

1985, sat on a flight from St. Petersburg, Florida to New Orleans next to a Chinese dude with such bad dandruff that his shoulders were covered in what looked like snow. Never seen anything else that nasty.
Had to be a cultural thing not to care.

The ol’ 3 fingers is how they do it. Makes me think they don’t remove all the stink.
I bet they don't use wet wipes either.

That's a nice place. Definite step up from Commerce.

. Went to disney a while back and you could smell them 100 yards away
We were on a Disney bus with a family of 6 dot Indians and the 6 had the entire front of the bus to themselves. There must have been 20 of us packed in the back half. I felt bad for them because it was obvious but they smelled that bad.

It’s the spices and garlic in their diet. Turmeric and fenugreek ooze out of your pores if you consume too much.

Non-western cultures are so great aren’t they?

I had two Indian friends in high school and college.
They were born in America and lived as Americans while eating an Indian diet prepared by thier mothers.
They showered every day and wore deodorant and did not stink.
I don't think it is the diet. I think it is the lack of soap and water.
Kind of admirable for thier families. Came to America poor, lived a middle class life and sent thier sons and daughters to college.
The two kids I knew are closing in on 50 now and live a upper middle class life.

This post reminds me of the India Imports Store in Kenner. Still have my Bruce Lee shoes I got from there.
