Wasn’t there a thread on here during the national championship run with a guy bitching about having to go to a wedding on championship game day?

Of all the major holidays to have something like that on, July 4th is probably one of the better ones.

I was born on this day many decades ago, and the doctor was pissed because it was about 2am.

The chances of me showing up to a wedding on the 4th of July are a little less than zero

It’s a great holiday to have it on in the right climate when it falls on a weekend like this. Was at one last year in Colorado and had a blast. You’re likely spending the holiday with friends or family anyways, not sure what the difference is. Just double the reason to celebrate

Unfortunately this is not the case. It is a wedding where you are invited by someone who lost touch with your SO years ago. So we will not know anyone here

Yea seems easy overlap. Your already getting together with friends and family. The food, wardrobe, and entertainment just upgraded a little?

The only prohibited day for a wedding is the first Saturday in November.

Agreed that is incredibly selfish. I also used to consider having them during football season to be selfish but increasingly am moving away from football

Honestly just don’t get married. You are throwing your life away
