phesasnt, duck, and andouille gumbo at Jazzfest. Yum. No okra needed in fowl and and sausage gumbo. Okra a must in seafood gumbo, file too.

I don’t care if it’s 88 degrees at Jazzfest, the Prejean gumbo is always my first stop in the first day of Jazzfest.
I’ve had a better, but it’s great.

I feel sorry for those that have only had tourist trap gumbo and gravy soup that some pretend is gumbo.

Wood duck and Andouille gumbo with garlic bread is my last meal request.

That’s a good choice, especially if they let you wait around to have leftovers on day two.

Nice looking soup. You put those little soup crackers in it too?

Lol, okra boy being cute. Take you mommas titty out of your mouth. You don’t dictate what gumbo is or isn’t.

Well, maybe to your husband, you do...

I guess it shouldn’t surprise me but an okra debate in a gumbo thread is such a weird place to see someone get as triggered as you

Yes.

Turkey.

There is a reason we only cook turkeys at home once or twice a year.
You’ve apparently never had the baked stuffed turkey wings from Laura’s Two in Lafayette.
