It's a great city but top 30 in the world is probably a stretch. An argument could be made that it's not top 12 in North America and we're not where most of the worlds great cities are.

Our political situation has to be the worst or close to it but we manage to be a great state in spite of ourselves. Our financial crisis appears to be over so I'm sure our legislature will be looking to soon spend our way back into one.

Bama scoop, you are such a tard. Just learn to move on from these threads. If you are uneducated and haven't lived in or traveled the world, just shut up.

You sound like a bigot.

Psst. California has been under state wide water rationing.

you do realize the state of california is not a single sentient being, correct?

Not like you think. Cities are required to reduce water usage but it's mostly been accomplished by voluntary cuts. The fact that we can use pretty much use all the water we want - likely on average more than where you live - is pretty amazing.

West Coast US
Indiana (the people who live there think their lives don't suck)

You're just trolling to prove Cali is the more delusional place. I get it.

I love Seattle, but this statement is just stupid.

It's easily top 10 in the US, maybe top 5.
We visited Seattle two years ago and the lead story on the local news was concern that a homeless encampment was getting overcrowded and the city council - one of whom was a woman and an avowed communist - was weighing a measure to allow it to expand to accommodate more bums.
Seattle is a nice place but is no utopia and many (not all) folks there have their heads pretty far up their arse.

No there isn't. Just look at all of the different church denominations that rule the south. They all think that their version of the story is right. The large majority of these congregations haven't read or seldomly read the bible.

The entire west coast is fricktard. Beautiful, but fricktard.

May had something to do with all the gutter punks and homeless people that made us feel that way.

Neither is the Southern US.

California is pretty delusional. Consistently bankrupt, can't figure out how to get water to it's citizens, lives everyday in danger of multiple natural disasters.

Oh Louisiana is pretty crappy too, but since it was included in the OP, I figured the argument was for other places.
Like Detroit.

You'll get the same shite if you bring a bunch of basement dwellers from California to the South.

Texas on the other hand has it's shite together way more than California
From one who lives here, that ain't saying a whole helluva lot.
