Unless it has changed over the last 10 years, Chapelle and Dominican girls were much easier than their MCA counterparts. But I guess by senior year all bets are off.

I agree. If there's anyone that should be at fault, it should be her friends. They are the ones who should be embarrassed.

I agree that it was silly for the whole metro area to be freaking out that she was missing for 12 hours. It does show though how close knit of a community the N.O. catholic school people can be. I know I saw 8 different facebook post from people who didn't even have kids at Mount Carmel.

It's her family and friend's fault.

I don't either. She made the biggest mistakes here. Underage drinking , not staying In contact.

Exactly and there weren't cell phones when I was in HS. Let her know where I was staying or wake her up when I got home. No curfew, but momma had to know.

This. If I know I'm going anywhere for a long period of time, I make sure the thing is mostly/fully charged before I go.
Her friends did hugely overreact also.
