Is there a bigger news dump than the Alton Sterling presser today?

If SWB was not a complete retard, they'd work out voluntary resignation packages w/ the officers.
But, she is and they won't.

Regarding SWB, anyone ever notice how much she keeps her head down to read during her pressers? She never has anything memorized and can't ever just speak. She's constantly looking down to read.

I speculated a while back that this would be the day they quietly announced no charges against the former state police head man. It's the perfect news dump day.

Imagine the message canning those two police officers would send to anyone seriously considering joining the police force. You do your job, you attempt to arrest an armed thug with a long history of criminal activity, he resists arrest, goes for his gun, gets shot in the process, you’re cleared by feds and state, and your own police force and mayor refuse to have your back, and want to throw you under the bus themselves.
You know what that says? It says if I’m a cop and try to do my duty, my own mayor and police force do not have my back... frick That!!!!! So, now you’ve relegated yourself to the worst candidates possible for the police force, because anyone worth their weight won’t want to be anywhere near that shite. They’ll pick someplace much better, and good for them.

No doubt Salamoni is getting fired. It’s a toss up with Lake. The Mayor chose this Chief to do the dirty work and he’s happy to oblige. This new Chief may go down as the most hated Police Chief in the eyes of the officers with the exception of a few who think AS shouldn’t have been killed. BRPD is going to be a complete shite show!

Is this the guns fault or because he’s black? I’m confused

Amen to that.
I have lived the experience of having a loved one who had to kill one in self defense. Even though it was completely justified, investigated and cleared in every way - my loved one still suffered great emotional pain over having to deal with having to take a life when he had sworn to protect and save lives.
He woke up with nightmares over the event. He worried he was going to hell over it. You cannot even imagine what it does to someone like that.
My prayers are all for the officers and LEO and their families in this.
As for alton - nope, no sympathy or empathy for him. he was a like a pit bull that had to be put down.
I dont even give a shite that they used curse words or where the gun was pointed. There is no f*cking etiquette when fighting for your life.

This guy is BRPD or is talking to someone on the force. This is exactly what I am hearing.*
*i am not but have spoken to several officers this week and this is what they are all saying.

If there is just a small amount of meaningless discipline or no discipline at all, it will be fun to watch the mayor’s people turn against her. Or will they blame someone else?

I have family with BRPD and several friends. I think it’s gonna get ugly with the quickness.

Ugly meaning in the BRPD with a quick decision?
Or ugly with protesting?

It would be interesting to see the police force choose to stand with these two guys who were fired and refuse to go to work.

I hope someone at the press conference asks him if he had to agree to fire them to get the job

Ugly within the department.

I'd love to see it too but police are not allowed to withdraw service in most cities. Going on strike carries criminal charges if they choose to do so.

Heard yesterday that local police aren’t and weren’t worried about outside agitators or protests. They are worried about another psychopath coming into town and picking them off. So they’ve changed up their daily routines to try and combat that.

She looks like the Mom from Family Matters. Everytime she does an interview/Presser, i'm waiting for Erkel to pop out and say, "Did I Do That"?
