You are correct, but that cross trainer style was popular among all ages during the 1990s.

wait!!! screw triggering!!!! i'm old. i wear them because they're comfortable, and i'm past the point of giving a shite what children think about me.

A podiatrist acquaintance always talks about how choosing looks over comfort/fit/function when it comes to shoes is ruining an entire generation of American feet.

That is, China is killing future foot health for millions of us.

looks like New Balance is the winner. I wear them, get them on sale at Bass Pro. Don't want a shoe that looks like a moon boot. And yes, most of you would consider me old.

When I hear sketchers I think of little kidz saturday morning commercials, and old people comfort shoes.
