My OP is properly titled and you knew exactly what the discussion was going to be about before you opened it. You didn't have to open it if you felt it was an agenda that was going to be pushed.
The commercial, on the other hand, specifically chose to buck the social norm of the man proposing to the woman to push their agenda and that agenda is one of bending over backwards to be different and that is what I hate so much.
