It gives you a net 3.6% raise over inflation the last 2 years.

It doesn’t make any sense for the job market to be slowing down as rate cuts are imminent.

Bottom line is that people just don’t want to work anymore…. There are a ton of jobs out there…

No not the way that works in Industrial Sales, especially in areas with more SA accounts than local account growth.

The good news for all these laid off Intel workers: there's plenty of prison jobs open.

Not worth it. Learn the OWASP AI guidelines in 30m. GIGO (Garbage in, garbage out) is something taught 40 years ago.

The $200k+ job market is f@cked, at least in Cyber Security. They want 25 years of expertise, but only pay at the rate of someone with 3 years of XP.

Never work for an Indian managed company without doing severe amounts of due diligence.

I thought this has always been the case with plumbers and strippers.

Agree with this... I work for an engineering/ design company (in accounting),
and I went to a presentation last week on Machine Learning, which is part of AI. This stuff is as scary as it is compelling.

Musk taught them that you can do the work of 50,000 lazy asses with only 2000 hard workers.

People who like money paid attention.

Exactly what I used to scream at upper management at my manual labor job.

" If you paid your top 20% workers an extra $3-5/hr, fired the other 80%, you would see little to no drop in production and save multiple millions per year in wages and insurance"

While I want to have hope that this trend will continue and work ethic will become a necessity again... odds are the gov will just use it as an excuse to waste more money helping lazies be lazy

E

The grass might be greener on the other side of the fence, but it might be harder to chew.

Top performers can still move if they want, but the rest of you better sit tight.

And, those non-competes you signed?

Well, despite what your mailman's brother-in-law's cousin said, they are still very much enforceable.
