can't speak for that place but I can tell you a little about the Gates in Opelusas

It’s centrally located. 20 years ago, it was among the best the city had to offer.

It's a fine area to stay. Pool is decent, good location. They are all a little older but it's safe.

Area has gone downhill since Katrina for sure.
But fine enough as temp pad.

Always drive through a potential place at 5 pm and see who’s walking around.

Apparently the temp housing company through the insurance can.

Like a busted water heater or it flooded from rain?

Me. I demoed and redid flooring for quite a few people after the great flood. So i’ve Got a bit of experience.
Got some friends/family who did all the restoration for their houses after the flood so between us all we’ll have the tools and knowhow
Hopefully I built up some good karma. I didn’t charge anyone I helped after the flood
