Yeah. When I think of shithole I think of North Virginia and Massachusetts. Nobody should EVER have to live without culcha.

New Orleans isn’t the South if Texas isn’t.

The park cities and Preston Hollow are way nicer.

What about the area around Jesuit? That is pretty comparable to the Frisco Plano area no?

Ft. Worth is sneaky fun. But you really have to be into the whole country thing.

I'm not really into the Cowbody thing but they served some good drinks and it was a good "look at the spectacle" kind of thing. I had spent like a week in Plano so anything was gonna be fun at that point.

Perhaps something could be done about "culcha" if those wonderful places like the NE and Cali would stop making policies that encourage it

New Orleans is most assuredly southern. Delicious, fattening food. Kind, amiable people to your face mixed in with some of the most corrupt backstabbing bastards ever found in “high society”.

A very lazy attitude permeating every aspect of life where there is no urgency to get anything done but rather an emphasis on enjoying the present and spending time with friends

There are at least 2 different spots in Plano that are comparable without having shitty areas nearby.

White chapel blvd in Southlake kills everything though.

Seems to be your own fault. It's a suburb, but there's plenty to do in the city and surrounding areas. Plus you're 20ish minutes north of downtown and a ton if areas in Dallas.

So Plano is boring, as I said.

And if you don't think the Fairhope / Point Clear area of Mobile Bay is an incredible place you are missing out.

I do agree that once you pass the Texas Triangle it becomes a totally different region. Texas is huge though, so that's to be expected.

I’ve always said the south ends in Baytown.

Coonasses aren’t southern either. Texans fought for the South, fought for or against the revolutionary war, fought in the war of 1812, fought in Britain long before America was even an idea. Texans are much closer to the South than the coonases. North Louisiana people are southern though.

Went to eat at Chuys in Southlake and there's a few blocks that look like some Texas Beverly Hills kinda shindig. Saw many V10's and 12's.

Is this where all the OT ballers with mouth breathers live?
